Review recommendations and take action

Unisphere can send data related to configuration, performance, health scores, alerts, and security settings to CloudIQ. CloudIQ can analyze this data and when it detects issues, it can generate recommendations for remediation, which are sent to Unisphere.

Prerequisites

See Roles and associated permissions to determine the user roles that can perform this task.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select EVENTS > CloudIQ Feed to open the CloudIQ Feed view.
  3. Select a deduction and click Details icon to view more details.
  4. Click Review.
    A dialog is displayed specifying a recommendation and one or more potential actions.
  5. Click the checkbox next to your chosen action.
  6. Select the storage system.
  7. On the Summary page, review the details and do one of the following:
    • Click Run Now to perform the operation now.
    • Expand Run Now and click Add to Job List to add this task to the job list, from which you can schedule or run the task at your convenience. For more information, see Schedule jobs and Preview jobs.
